RSS feed URL for Youtube channels

So Youtube doesn't provide this anymore on the web interface, but this seems to work:

https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/channelname/uploads?v=2&alt=rss
Just replace channelname with the name of the channel you want to subscribe to via RSS.

Watching country blocked Youtube videos

Is a Youtube video blocked for your country? It sucks, doesn't it? But it's easy to circumvent the block. Just go to this site which provides a proxy video player which usually can play blocked videos just fine. Just copy the video URL and paste it.

How to overcome the 200 video limit of a Youtube playlist

The Youtube playlist randomizer mentioned before acquired a new feature. It can mix and play videos from several playlists instead of only one.

You can use it to listen your classical and pop music playlist mixed together if you want, but it is much more useful to overcome the built in Youtube playlist limit.

A Youtube playlist can only have a maximum of 200 videos in it. If you have more than 200 favorite videos then you can put them into separate playlists and using this feature you can play those lists like a single, long playlist, so you can effectively have a playlist of infinite length. In theory, at least :).

How to play a Youtube playlist in random order (shuffle)?

With the recent redesign of Youtube they've taken out the randomize option, so you can set your playlist to autoplay, but it will always play in the same order. Boring, isn't it?

Luckily, there is a handy site which allows you to play/shuffle a Youtube playlist in randomized order. It does not have a fancy design, but it does the shuffling well.

You just give your Youtube user name, it lists your playlists and you can choose one to play in random order. It even have a Play Next button if you want to skip a number.

How to preview quickly related Youtube videos

When watching a video on Youtube it's often worth to check out the related videos too. Of course, most of them will not be interesting, so it would be nice if one could quickly watch them without clicking them one by one.

It is possible to do this with a bookmarklet which you can easily add to your browser and activate on any Youtube page.

Click this link: youtube hover with the right mouse button and in the appearing menu select Add to Favorites (Bookmarks). When it's done you can watch any video on Youtube as usual and if you want to see the related videos then you click on the bookmarklet, simply hover over the related links with the mouse and the related video appears instantly in a popup window.

Isn't it cool? Write a comment if you find it useful or you have suggestions.

How Do I View Full Screen Videos on Youtube?

My older relatives always complain when watching videos on Youtube that they are tiny and hard to see, and they don't know how to make it bigger. Do you also have that problem?

At the bottom-right corner of the video there is a little picture showing a small rectangle within a bigger one. Just click on it and you watch the videos in glorious full screen.

Much better, right?
