Setting your Skype-status to away automatically when you are away from the computer is not really working anymore, is it? If that's the case it's easy to fix.
Go to Tools/Options and change Show me as away after X minutes to some other value. Like 4 minutes. Save it.
Then go to Tools/Options again and set it to some other value again like 5 minutes. Save it.
After you changed it twice it will work correctly. Stupid, isn't it? But at least it can be fixed.
